The once quiet town of Vilcabamba became overflown with tourists and foreign settlers after receiving international attention in recent years. Local communities have been struggling to cope with these drastic changes.

We work with local NGOs and youth groups in a post-conflict environment to create ways to gradually build new opportunities for sustainable development. These Afro-Colombian communities rely on a unique peacebuilding culture inherited from Africa.
